Amanda Deveney

Audiologist

Amanda is a highly qualified audiologist, having earned a BSc in Audiology from the University of Southampton in 2015. Her professional journey began with three years of valuable experience as a Clinical Audiologist within the NHS. During this time, she gained expertise in adult rehabilitation, tinnitus therapy, and assisting the ENT department, all while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centred care.

Her personal experience as someone born with a hearing impairment inspired her to pursue a career in audiology. This first-hand understanding of the benefits of personalised hearing care motivated her to join Leightons in 2018, where she found the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Amanda plays a pivotal role in fostering teamwork and collaboration across practices. As part of the mentor team, she takes pride in guiding new team members, particularly those transitioning from a public to a private sector background. Amanda finds fulfilment in helping her colleagues reach their full potential, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting personal and professional growth for all team members.

Outside of work, Amanda leads an active lifestyle, participating competitively in netball for two district teams and enjoying leisurely walks with her two dogs. She also shares a passion for travel, having explored destinations across Asia and Australia.
