Elaine Clifford

Elaine has been working in audiology since 1991, across both the NHS and private sectors. Throughout this time, Elaine has specialised in balance and, in 2014, extended her specialism to tinnitus patients. She has found that having the time and opportunity to really listen to her patients allows her to provide them with the best care and hearing solutions for their needs.

“I was first attracted to working for The Hearing Care Partnership because they champion unhurried time with patients. In addition, I share their values of heartfelt service and compassionate care. They also give me the freedom to use my clinical knowledge and professional opinion to provide the best possible care for my patients.

Outside of work I am a keen trail runner and fitness enthusiast who likes nothing better than to scamper around the Peak District, whatever the weather. In 2019, I decided to add to my skillset by taking on the challenge of learning to dinghy sail. The lows of frequent capsizing have definitely been offset by the highs of being out on the water, and even placing in club competition!”
